Our Christmas Concert Singalong concert on December 17th will feature up-and-coming mezzo-soprano star Dinah Ayre.

Born into a musical family, mezzo-soprano Dinah Ayre has always had a passion for telling stories through music. She currently sings in the Vancouver Chamber Choir alto section. Dinah has a particular interest in new music and enjoys working with local composers to explore the changing frontiers of the classical music world. Dinah is currently completing her Artist Diploma at the Vancouver Academy of Music, where she studies with soprano Robyn Klassen and performs in the imaginative productions presented by the Academy's Vocal Theatre Program. Recently she has sung the role of Marianne in La Chatte Métamorphosée en Femme (Offenbach), and in a unique staged production of Benjamin Britten's Canticle II: Abraham and Isaac. This year, Dinah is also excited to be joining Players and Singers in it's first season to present a colourful re-imagining of John Blow's Venus & Adonis.
