My Help Comes From The Lord

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

Stewarship month was kicked off last Sunday with the youth welcoming, reading, praying, and leading us through the service. It was followed with a very yummy lunch- thanks Irene!

Over the next 4 weeks we will focus on Psalm 121 and highlight a St. Helen's ministry each Sunday:

October 2- Youth Led Service, Stewardship Lunch

October 9- Thanksgiving, Sharing the Harvest

October 16- Neighbourhood Ministry Sunday

October 23- Music, Worship and Seniors

October 30- Refugee Sunday

Throughout October, potlucks will take place at a parishioner's house, each themed around one of these ministries: Seniors (October 22 at noon), Children & Youth (October 16 at 5:30pm), Community Connections (October 30 at noon, October 23), Music & Worship (Ocotber 22 at 6pm). Feel free to attend more than one of these events! Please see the sign up board in the Narthex or call the office for more details.
