July 1, 2017: Newcomers celebrate first Canada Day at Spanish Banks.

March 13, 2017: Abdul-Karim, Ftim and baby Haneen arrive! 

March 11, 2017: Household Goods Drive #3! St. Helen's Parish Hall.

December 29, 2016: Mariam and Abd al-Karem arrive!  

December 17, 2016: Family Christmas Carol Singalong Concert - non-perishable food items collected  

December 10, 2016: St. Helen's hosts Household Goods Drive #2  

December 8, 2016: Lana plays on a playground for the first time.  

December 5, 2016: Fatima, Khaled, Lana and Majd arrive!  

December 2, 2016: Carolling For Refugees! Teams of carol singers go door to door in West Point Grey inviting people to support the Household Goods Drive and bring non-perishable food items to the Dec 17 Concert  

November 2016: Zakarya begins English lessons

October 13, 2016: Zakaraya arrives!  

September 25, 2016: Birth of Hanen, daughter of Abdul-Karim and Ftim  

September 24, 2016: St. Helen's hosts a Household Goods Drive 

August 29, 2016: Majd is born to Fatima and Khaled in Beirut  

April 17, 2016: Concert with Farooq Al-Sajee and Songs With Friends  

April 2016: Refugees interviewed by Canadian Embassy in Beirut  

March 2016: Sponsorship Applications are approved.  

December 2015: Paperwork begins  

November 2015: St. Helen's Parish Council Votes to support Syrian Refugees, and be the Official Sponsorship Agreement Holder
